Georg is a Ph.D. Student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His research advances our knowledge in corporate engagement with open source projects. As corporate involvement increases, open source foundations provide guidance and support for open source projects. We only begin to understand the evolution of this triangular relationship. Georg's current research focus is to inform this relationship through research into open source project health and new market mechanisms.
Georg co-founded the Mozilla Campus Club at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He also co-founded the Linux Foundation CHAOSS project. Georg contributes to the Mozilla Bugmark project.
Georg wants to be a community manager who sustains open source projects and increases diversity and inclusion within project communitites.
