I got in contact with Mozilla in early 2000 when I had to find a better web browser than the Internet Explorer for my company's work group. Since then I stepped through a couple of teams. Started with the user support of our German community for about 2 years, translating the website of Mozilla-Europe into German, and finally ending-up in Mozilla QA, showed me how unique Mozilla is.
Since 2009 I'm a full-time employee and mostly dedicated to the quality and stability of Firefox. Therefore I was part of the QA team and the A-team, and responsible for the Mozmill testing efforts. Nowadays Mozmill has been obsoleted and the main focus lays on automated testing with Marionette specifically the firefox-ui-tests.
I'm also a mentor for Automation interested community members and a big fan of social interaction with all the great fellows of Mozilla around the world.
