I manage various engineering programs and projects for the Platform (Gecko) team.
I also work on community building, specifically helping the project develop meaningful contribution opportunities for Mozillians, and helping communicate those opportunities out at scale.
I'm into infrastructure, open source, community, mentoring, parenting, and gluten free cookies. While I got more closely involved in Mozilla this year (as staff), I first used Netscape projects in 1996, and Firefox from the very beginning. I've been part of open source communities for many years, starting with Open Solaris and then BIND and ISC DHCP as well as the Mozilla Project.
I am in the Mountain View space Mondays, San Francisco some Thursdays, and otherwise in Santa Cruz.
