A Developer by profession, L10n contributor|FOSS Activist| Drupal India Community Memeber | Diversity and Inclusion Ally by passion. In this small journey of mine with all these community movements for the wellness and upliftment of the society. I had several opportunities to contribute to the community. It has been a great learning experience. My journey with Mozilla started a while ago wherein my contributions to the Te Locale are significantly improving with quality and quantity.
I am looking forward to Organising lot many Telugu L10n Meetups and improve our Contributors Base & product users.
Sahithi is one of the very few prolific contributors to Telugu Localization of Mozilla products. Her translations are highliy qualitative. She goes beyond and makes localization meet-ups/sprints very much fun and engaged—with her craft/decoration skills. And, she has ideas of using AI in localization.
I met Sahithi at a Mozilla L10n Workshop held in Kolkata in 2017. I was very impressed by her outgoing personality, active participation at the workshop and ongoing contribution to localization projects. She recognizes the lack of representation of women contributors in open source communities and would like to make a difference in that effort, not only by leading by examples and but also learning from other women, sharing ideas and lessons learned. She is a natural leader!
Sahithi has done awesome job with L10N (Telugu) and active contributor in the Mozilla localization Project. She is passionate volunteer from Mozilla Hyderabad community and helped organized the resources, prioritized the projects, communicated requests and surfaced issues so blockers could be quickly addressed and projects done. Apart from Mozilla, Sahithi was contributing to other open source projects such as Swecha. 1. http://swecha.org/ 2. https://pontoon.mozilla.org/contributors/bJUiQyU
